Can you identify this rooftop view of Hollywood?

This photo was presumably taken from the rooftop of Western Costume in 1988, but I can’t identify which direction it faces. There is great footage from the roof of Western Costume from 1986 in Part 9 of this video, but nothing seems to match.

In 1988, Western Costume was located at 5335 Melrose Avenue. The building sat on the western half of the block between Bronson and Van Ness, roughly where the Paramount Studio theater and it’s parking lot are currently located.
